Hello everyone ! Lounon here !
Have you smelled the new Crafty Meraki Hocus Pocus fragrance ?
Today, I share with you a Halloween card I made with the beautiful Crafty Meraki Love Potion stamp set. As you can see you can stretch your crafty supplies just by switching the colors you use. Using traditional Halloween colors ( green, orange, black and purple) I completely changed the vibe of my card. A spooky sentiment paired with a bold green background and you will have a super pretty Halloween card !
First, I stamped my image from the Crafty Meraki Love Potion stamp set with a No-line coloring inkpad.
I colored it with my Copics and Illustrators markers. For the purple blends I used my Illustrators PL5 PL3 PL2 PL1 PV1, for the black blend : my Copics Black W9 W7 W5 W3 W1, for the orange blend my Illustrator B04 and Copics YR18 YR16 Y38 Y35 Y15 and for the green blend : my Copics G28 YG67 YG63 YG25 YG03 YG01. I write my sentiment on the label and fussy cut it.
After that, I cut a rectangle into white cardstock with a die. I inked it with my Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pad Pearfection and Limelicious inkpads. I splattered some water, green inks and black pearlescent watercolor on it with a brush.
I used two nesting rectangle dies to cut a frame into black cardstock. I also cut a bigger rectangle.
I glued the frame on my green panel and matted and layered it with the bigger black one.
Finally, I colored the white part of my image to match the green panel. I glued my image with foam pads on the base of my card.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
