Happy Birthday - Lily Serenade Press-Tacular Plate

Hello, friends and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with a birthday card featuring the new Lily Serenade Press-Tacular Plate!! I'm so excited that Crafty Meraki started creating press plates!! There are some popular previously released stamp sets that are now being released as press plates and a few brand new designs, such as the Lily Serenade that I used on my card today!!

I began by pressing the Lily Serenade Press-Tacular Plate onto heavyweight white cardstock using InkOn3 Blackout Ink and the Betterpress System. I colored the wreath with Copic markers and trimmed the panel to a little smaller than A2 size. It was splattered with diluted black ink. Once dry, it was adhered to an A2 panel of bright pink cardstock. I used a yellow gel pen on the stamen of the lilies.

For the sentiment, I used a new sentiment press plate, the Gilded Expressions Press-Tacular Plate. It was pressed onto heavyweight white cardstock with black pigment ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut another layer from bright pink cardstock. The pink layer was adhered to the card base using liquid adhesive and the press plate layer was popped up with foam tape.

A sprinkling of Royal Amethyst Dew Drops added with a Bling Buddy completes the card and add a bit of sparkle.
