Happiest Birthday by Candice

Hello! Candice with you today sharing a sweet slimline card full of Safari celebration!

I used these fabulous products all found in the Crafty Meraki store:

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I die cut the scalloped frame from pattern paper, trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to fit behind the frame, inked it with rusty hinge, crushed olive and shabby shutters and then splattered it with these inks and white copic paint with a damp paint brush.

While this dried, I created the layered CELEBRATE from thick white cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment on a black banner and adhered to the CELEBRATE with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the sweet safari critters, plants and clouds from the Sweet Safari stamp set, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I assembled the card by adhered the frame with foam tape over the inked panel, glued the CELEBRATE closer to the top and tucked my images in with glue or foam tape giving lots of dimension to the scene! I finished with a few matching domes!

Thank you so much for visiting and head over to the Crafty Meraki store and check out all the brands she carries, it's great to get it all in one place!
