Flower Bouquet Card by Irene

Flower Bouquet Card by Irene

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Irene here with a floral bouquet-shaped card. I used the Love Forever Stamp Set and Die for this project. Let's get started!

I began by scoring an 8.5x11 inch cardstock at the 5.25 mark. I folded at the score line and placed the die over it, leaving space between the fold and the die.

Next, I stamped the floral stamp in clear embossing ink and heat-set it with gold embossing powder. I used the coordinating stencils to color. For the lightest color, I chose Catherine Pooler Pucker Up ink; for the mid-tone, I used Flirty Fuschia; and for the darkest tone, I used Glam. For the color of the leaves, I used Lime Rickey for the lighter tone and Grass Skirt for the darker tone. Make sure to wipe away ink on the gold embossing between layering.

I die-cut the inked floral with the coordinating die. Next, I glued the cut floral image to the card. I started by lining it up on the right side first and worked my way to the left. The floral will hang slightly over the left side of the card to ensure it won't make it difficult to open.

All done! Thanks for reading along! Have a great weekend!
