Hi everyone! Gladys here and I'm happy to share this card using another amazing mini slimline die from the Crafty Meraki collection.
This gorgeous floral cover die is called Starry Night which reminds me of cherry blossoms. I love the intricate details and how easy it is to create cards with this die. I kept my card simple because I wanted the floral to be the focus. For my background I ink blended seedless preserves, festive berries, abandoned coral, and tattered rose distress oxide inks. I splattered water droplets, diluted seedless preserves and white gouache for more interest.
Next I die cut the Starry Night para-dies from white card stock multiple times which I glued together to give dimension. I colored the center of each flowers with copic markers then added jewels to give more dimension and sparkle. To complete the card I added the sweet hello die sentiment cut from vellum and dark gray cardstock.
I hope you like this card and it inspires you to create with cover dies. Thanks so much for joining me and have a wonderful day! Hugs!!
