Faux Watercolor "Thanks" card by Irene

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Today, I'm sharing a card with a faux watercolor background. Today's project uses the Laurel Leaf and Thanks Die sets. I had a different card planned, but I let the paper take me where it wanted to go :)

I cut two large leaf dies in gold foil card stock, and Thanks was cut in orange, white, and gold. I used the negative cut from the leaf die as a stencil. I used Catherine Pooler inks, Spruce, Matcha, Whipped Honey, Sauna, and Ginger. When adding the ink, I DID NOT blend or use circular motions. I used my brush to drop ink onto my panel by gently tapping the ink down. I repeated these steps using all colors. I trimmed the card panel to 3.25 by 5.25 inches and added it to an orange cardstock in A2 size. Next, I added the gold leaves to the top left and bottom right corners and trimmed the excess. I added the sentiment to the center of the card with foam tape for dimension.
