Happy Friday, Friends! Irene here with a Watercolor Die-Cut card. I used the Crafty Meraki Artisan Flora Wreath Builder Para-Dies and the Crafty Meraki—Meraki Moments Hi Hot Foil plate and Die combo.
For this project, I used Cold-Press 140lb watercolor paper. Since I'm a control freak when it comes to watercolor (haha), I die-cut all the pieces first. I used the Altenew Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set. To color the flowers, I used Cherry Blossom, Shades of Purple, and a mix of both. I used Rock Collection for the flower centers. I used a blend of Green Hills and Green Meadows for the leaves. I colored one of the leaves on the backside to create a half wreath.
Once everything dried, I began to assemble the flowers with liquid glue. I glued the leaves to the right of an A2-sized watercolor panel, only gluing the stems and lifting the leaves upward. I also curled the petals on the flowers up and glued them to the leaves. Next, I added watercolor spatter with Cherry Blossom and Green Hills.
Finally, I added the "Hi" hot foil sentiment (created in a previous crafty session) with liquid glue. And done!
