Happy Saturday crafty friends! It's Kimberly! I'm here to share a fun card using the Reason to Smile stamp set to create a fun background! This stamp set is GORGEOUS and you will see how I've used it many different ways this month.
Let's get started! The technique I'm using is an oldie but a goodie- Emboss Resist! First, start with your card base of White cardstock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2"). Next, using a white cardstock panel ( 4 x 5 1/2"), stamp the Reason to Smile stamp using embossing ink, onto the front of the panel. Pour white embossing powder over the entire image and use your heat tool to emboss the image.
Next, you will need an array of ink colors to create this fun rainbow effect. I used the following Distress Oxide inks: Kitsch Flamingo, Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Seedless Preserves. Using a blending brush, blend each of these colors over your embossed image. Once all of your ink is blended, gently wipe away any excess ink.
Are you a fan of SPLATTER?? One of my favorites things to add to a card is splatter. While it's not something everyone enjoys, I love the effect it creates on a card. For this card, I used a black ink and small paint brush to add a few splatters to bring out the contrast of the black cardstock used in the sentiment.
Now that we have a beautiful background, it's time to add the sentiment. Here I've used the Meraki Moments Hi stamp set along with the Meraki Moments Hi Para-Dies. Start with die cutting the Meraki Moments Hi Para Dies using the following cardstock colors: Black, Light Yellow and White. I used the black cardstock for the shadow layer. To create added dimension, die cut two of the sub sentimentusing Light Yellow cardstock, then gluing these together with a liquid glue. Glue all of the layers together using a glue of choice.
To finish the card, stamp the sentiment "Just a Note" from the Meraki Moments-Hi Stamp set onto white cardstock (1/4 x 1 3/4") using black ink. Attach twine of your choice to the back of the Hi sentiment using liquid glue. Next, adhere the "HI"sentiment to the card front using liquid glue. Lastly, attach "Just a Note" to the Hi sentiment using liquid glue.
Backgrounds can add so much interest to a card, especially when you add a beautiful stamp image such as Reason to Smile. Pull out some of your favorite floral images and create a fun background using the Emboss Resist technique. Have an amazing day and I look forward to sharing another card with you next week. Kimberly XOXO

Get Your Ex Lover Back Fast And Save Your broken Relationship Even If Your Situation Seems Hopeless!
My husband left me and my 2 children 4 wks ago and I’m just not coping! We’d been together since we were 18 and after 22 yrs I feel like I’ve lost everything. I can’t eat or sleep and I’m struggling to keep it together at work. I know I have to be strong for the children but I’m a complete wreck and I am desperately ashamed that I’m affecting them. They are 6 and 9 and obviously are going to need a lot of support and I feel like I’m such a failure. People keep telling me it will get better but at the moment I can’t see beyond the hurt and desperation I feel. my heart was filled with sorrows and pains because I was really in love with my husband. I have tried many options but he did not come back, until i met a friend that directed me to Dr. Excellent a spell caster, who helped me to bring back my husband after 11hours.
