Colour Changing Card featuring Ombre Rainbow Glitter Paper

Hello friends!  Bonnie here from Bonniecarollee Makes Cards.  Today’s card features the newly released Ombre Rainbow Glitter Paper… and it is GORGEOUS! I have incorporated two different colour blends in a fun and easy colour changing card. Be sure to check out the VIDEO TUTORIAL.

Black card stock was cut with Marrakech Mosaic Background Die. Acetate was cut to the same size.  Tombow adhesive was applied to the solid diagonal lines running in both directions on the back of the die cut panel.  The panel was left to dry until the adhesive was tacky. The panel was adhered to the acetate.

Nine strips of black card stock were cut to 1/4” by 5 1/2”. They were stacked in threes for a total of three strips.   One strip was adhered to the bottom of a black panel measuring 4 1/4” by 5 1/2”. The strip was trimmed flush to the edge. The other two stacked strips were adhered to the sides and trimmed. The panel was mounted onto an A2 sized card base.

A second panel of the glitter paper and black card stock were cut to fit the area within the raised strips on the other panel. A small piece of black card stock was used to create a pull tab and the word PULL printed in silver gel pen. The tab was sandwiched at the top between the glitter and black card stock panels.

The die cut panel with the acetate was adhered to the strips on the card front panel. Another panel of black card stock was cut to A2 size and die cut with an oval die. This frame was adhered to the card front. The panel with the tab was inserted into the pocket and the card was finished off with a die cut sentiment using Meraki Moments Hugs and matte silver pearls embellishing the tile centres of Marrakech Mosaic.
