Hi fellow crafter's! It's Candice with you today showing how you can do a clean and simple style on a slimline card!
I used these awesome products all from the Crafty Meraki store:
- MFT Boo Crew stamps & coordinating dies
- MFT Slimline Starter die-namics
- MFT Slimline Grassy Hills die-namics
- Distress Oxide inks-carved pumpkin, fossilized amber & scattered straw
I began my slimline card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits nicely into your standard size envelopes.
For the background, I first die cut the stitched panel from Bristol Smooth cardstock and inked the top half with carved pumpkin, fossilized amber and scattered straw oxide inks. I then die cut a strip of the grass from thick black cardstock and heat embossed the best witches in white near the bottom left. I glued to the bottom of the inked area and then stamped the second sentiment under the grass in versafine black ink.
Next, I stamped the witch and pumpkins, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I either glued or used foam tape to add dimension and stamped the web and spider in the top corner and the star near the sentiment to finish!
I would love to see your take on a CAS slimline design and please tag #craftymeraki if you share on IG!
