Happy Friday, Friends! I am here today making last-minute gift boxes with double-sided pattern paper. You can use any paper you have on hand.
If you are like me, you can't resist pretty patterned paper... I have lots of it and am always trying to figure out how to use it! So today, I decided to make many treat boxes for my daughter's fourth-grade class. I used the DCWV "Down the Chimney" paper pad, Crafty Meraki Capture My Heart 3D Box Dies, and the Take a Bow Again die sets. These cute little boxes take no time at all to make.
I first selected the patterns I wanted to use for the boxes. I trimmed each sheet to fit the dies, secured it with low-tack tape, and ran it through my die-cutting machine.
Next, I used a bone folder to fold at each crease line. I glued the side tabs and carefully lined them up. Then, I folded the boxes into shape.
I made the bows using red glitter cardstock. I used two layers of bows for each box. I added a small piece of foam tape to the center of each bow and the top layer to it.
I filled the boxes with treats and tied them closed with white satin ribbon. I then added foam tape behind the bows and attached them to the boxes.
That's all! Do you make treat boxes for the holidays? Let me know! Thanks for reading along and have a great weekend!
