Hello!
Today another version of inspiration made using the "Festive Frolic" stamp set. This time I broke the pastel color palette with a few slightly more saturated colors, but the whole thing is still in a very unobvious color combination.
Since the current week's theme is inspirations containing shakers, I also decided to make one. With the help of the "Mini Slimline 3 Room Studio" die-cutting machine, with which I created the perfect windows for the shaker.
To begin with, I prepared myself a paper of a delicate brown color. I applied the "Jolly Holly" stamp on it with brown ink. In this way, I got a handmade patterned paper, which perfectly blended into the whole idea. Then from this paper I cut out a base with windows. To the cut out element from underneath, I glued transparent film to protect the windows where the sequins will be placed.
I then proceeded to prepare the base for the element with windows. I decided again to use paper with a theme of notes, because I wanted to make a reference to the characters of the carolers who will be on the card.
My next step was to choose a set of sequins. I opted for slightly pudding-like soft colors, so that they would blend beautifully into the background and provide only a subtle embellishment for what would be on the front of the card.
After assembling the whole sheker, it was time to color the stamps from the "Festive Frolic" set. I thought that an interesting mix in combination with the brown background could be a shade of blue and pink, to which a delicate more saturated green would be an addition. The wreath, gift sock and candles completed the look perfectly. At the very end, as always, I added a little accent with white gel pen and the card was ready.
