Hi Crafty Friends!!!!
I am super excited to be here today with my first project as a guest designer for Crafty Meraki, I am a watercolor lover and this set is just a dream to watercolor.
To start this project, I stamped the adorable Hedge Hugs set on Arches watercolor paper with Versafine ink , then I painted the image with watercolors from art philosophy (used the classics and currents set on this project).
If you have been following me on instagram @albasartlab , I bet you have seen I have been smitten since last year with metallic handmade watercolors, they look absolutely amazing in person and give a special touch to any card, on this project I used the Amazon series dot card from one of my favorite brands IUILE (you can find it on Etsy). Dot cards are a great way to try a new brand and see if you like it, depending on the projects, these dot cards can last you for several projects, take a look at the shimmer on the picture below.
To finish my project, I cut my colored piece with the Nordic frames die from The Greetery.
Hope this project inspires you to send Hedge Hugs to a special person in your life and play with watercolors, this stamp is the perfect one for that.
