Hello Meraki Friends! It's Candice with you today with a fun slimline card to brighten your day!
I absolutely love this Scenic Route Slimline die to frame your scenes and I filled it with some trouble making kitties! I love how this die is great to use your pattern paper with just to give a pop of design around your scene!
I began my slimline with an 81/2 x 3 1/2 card base.
For my background, I first die cut the wallpaper pattern paper using the Scenic Route Slimline die, inked a piece of Bristol Smooth with speckled egg, scattered straw, and antique linen and splattered with white paint and gold shimmer spray using a damp paintbrush. Once it was dry, I adhered the pattern frame with foam tape over the inked panel.
Next, I stamped the kitties and plants, colored them with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Have you taken a look at the huge selection of MFT products in the Crafty Meraki store?! I know that it sells out quite often at the MFT store so you can always find it in the Crafty Meraki store and they offer the same shipping rate, free over $50!
I finished my design by stamping the sentiment in Versafine black ink and sprinkling a few blue jewels around!
Thank you for visiting with me today!
Candice
