Birthday Hugs by Brenda

Hello, crafters!! Brenda here with you today. I hope you're all doing well!! The theme this week is birthday and I have a pretty simple card that would be great to celebrate anyone's big day!!

I began by trimming a piece of party hat patterned paper from the Celebrate Good Times Paper Pad slightly smaller than A2. I matted it with a panel of dark blue and bright green cardstock that matched the colors in the paper.

For the sentiment, I die-cut the Meraki Moments Hugs Para-Dies from dark blue, white and green cardstock. I also die-cut the bottom layer three more times from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them to to back for dimension.

"Birthday" was stamped onto white cardstock with dark blue ink using the Meraki Moments Hugs Stamp Set. I trimmed it into a narrow strip, matted it with green cardstock and popped it up with foam tape. I added Aurora Dew Drops to the tips of the party hats for a little shine.

I really love all the designs in the Celebrate Good Times Paper Pad!! They're so bright and cheerful!! Just add a sentiment and some gems and you're finished!!
