Hi friends......it's Michelle back with you today with a card featuring lots of stencilling. I used the beautiful Protea Paradise Layering Stencil Set set against a background stencilled 2 ways. Let's get started, shall we!
The stencil layers of the flower are numbered, to make it easier to know which to use next, but I used them out of order lol. Spray the back of the stem stencil (layer #4) with temporary spray adhesive, as there are some fine delicate areas you don't want to move around. Adhere the stencil onto a piece of white cardstock slightly larger than 6x6 and ink blend using a green for the stem and leaves. Remove and adhere stencil layer #1 and ink blend using a purple for the base of the flower. Continue with stencil #2 using a darker purple on the flower head.
Add stencil #4, the detailed layer of the stem and leaves and cover it using an even layer of white opaque texture paste. Remove the stencil and while it is still wet, add a dark green embossing powder. I used Verdant embossing powder from WOW! Embossing, as it has some gold in it too. Wait a little bit and heat it with your heat embossing tool to set the powder and dry the paste as well.
Add stencil #3, which is the fine detail layer of the flower and add texture paste. Remove the stencil and sprinkle on Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder from WOW! Allow it to sit for a few minutes and then dry it using the heat embossing tool. Cut out the flower using the coordinating die.
For the background cut out the Craft-A-Round Cover A2 Background die, but do not punch out all of the diecut pieces. Place this over a slightly larger than A2 sized piece of light grey cardstock and add texture paste. Remove the diecut piece and add WOW! Paint Me Golden embossing powder. Allow to dry for a bit before setting it with the heat tool.
I decided the background didn't have enough interest, so I cut the background die again and removed all the die cut pieces this time. I placed it over the dried embossing paste (this was easy to do, as the paste is raised, so it fit perfectly into place) and ink blend the areas without paste using Lost Shadow Distress Ink.
Cut down the background piece smaller than the A2 cardbase and adhere the diecut flower. Add a gold hot foiled sentiment from the Handmade Love Hot Foil Plate and coordinating die. Add a final few bits of sparkle with the Meraki Sparkle Fairy Garden.
And that's it...a floral stencilled card featuring 2 different ways to stencil, including using a background die as a stencil. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope that I have helped to inspire you in some way. Have yourself a wonderful and crafty day and until next time, Michelle :)

After mining 100 btc worth $2.6M early 2021, I decided to sell off my old laptop and had to save all the wallets’ private keys and passwords to a small hard drive known as Iron keys. Unluckily the drive got lost. I tried several times to enter the password with no luck. I had to look for a hacker’s help to revive my wallet. That’s when I came across Recovery Masters, modernized experts in crypto Recovery. After a serious conversation with them my wallet was retrieved back with all my funds intact. I Must recommend them for the good and reliable services.
