For Sara’s workshop, you will be creating 2 layouts using elegant design aesthetics. You will learn how to gallery mat a photo, how to incorporate layers and symmetry on your projects. Sara will be showcasing a “gallery wall” technique featuring layers and lots of floral die cut elements. Sara will show you how a “pop of black” can make your layouts more elegant in a simple way.

To follow along with Sara's projects in this workshop, it will help to have these elements prepared in advance before her workshop.
Card Project
Using the Affluent Heart Dies, white cardstock from your stash and the Color Cascade Paper Pad cut as follows-
- Largest Heart Die - 1 from patterned paper, 1 from white cardstock.
- 2nd Largest Heart Die - 2 from patterned paper, 2 from white cardstock
- 2 smallest heart dies- one each from patterned paper and one each from white cardstock
Scrapbook Layout Project
Using the Retro Blooms Paper Pad ,choose your favorite patterns and cut the following shapes-
- 2x 3-inch circles
- 2x 2-inch squares
- 3x 1-1/2 inch squares
- Cut one panel from the smallest slimline die in the Birthday Star Mini Slimline Die
From white cardstock cut:
- Cut each flower in the Artisan Flora Wreath Die
From black cardstock cut:
- 3x 1-3/4 inch squares
- 2x 2-1/4 inch squares
