Hello my Crafty Meraki friends! Candice back with you today sharing a fun slimline shaker card highlighting a few of the slimline dies I designed for Crafty Meraki!
I used these products all found in the Crafty Meraki store:
- Crafty Meraki Whole-heartedly Slimline die
- Crafty Meraki Love Slimline dies
- MFT Balloon Besties stamps & coordinating dies
- Oxide inks-abandoned coral, dried marigold & speckled egg
I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.
For my background, I inked a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with abandoned coral, dried marigold and speckled egg and splattered with white paint using a damp paintbrush. After that dried, I die cut it out with the Whole-heartedly slimline die and adhered a piece of acetate behind. I lined the outside edges with a double layer of foam tape, filled with sequins and covered over the card front.
Next, I stamped the bunnies, bear and balloons, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then cut out layers of the LOVE with thick white cardstock and inked a banner with abandoned coral and dried marigold and stamped the sentiment on it. I glued the LOVE down in the center of my slimline and used foam tape to add the sentiment strip in the middle of the LOVE.
I finished the design by adhering the images around the LOVE with foam tape!
If you haven't tried a slimline shaker, they are quite easy and really give room for your sequins to move!
Thank you for visiting with me today!
Candice
