Hi everyone!
Sindhu here. I'm back with a new card using the latest #merakiversary release. You still have time to participate in the two hops - IG hop and YouTube hops- that are going on. There are 4 prizes in total and they are big! So be sure to check them out.
If you haven't checked Jennifer McGuire's video using the latest release, you definitely should. It inspired me to crrate today's card.
I started by die cutting several Acanthus leaves from Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock and coloured them using my MFT Premium Dye inks. I used 3-4 shades of green.
Then, I stamped the sentiment from Always in my heart on white cardstock and fussy cut around it.
Then, I took the die cut leaves and sent them through my die cutting machine using A2 Pagoni Mania Meraki Para-dies to achieve the faux stitching on the leaves.
I adhered the leaves on a white panel measuring 4"×5.25". After adhering them all down, i felt there were still gaps that didn't look good.
So, I applied Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink on a piece of white cardstock and then die cut Margaret flowers from it. I adhered the smaller sized flowers in the gaps.
I adhered the sentiment and added Divine Illusion gems to the flower centers. Finally adhered the panel on a pink card base.
That's it from my side for today. See you next week.
Hugs... Sindhu.
