Hello, friends!! I hope this finds you all well!!
I absolutely love die-cut flowers, so I was super excited to get my hands on the Christmas Flowers Layering Die Set!!
I began by die-cutting all of the layers of the flowers and the leaves in the Christmas Flowers Layering Die Set from watercolor paper and coloring them with Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers and lots of water. Once dry, I added some shading with Copic markers. A stylus was used to add veining and curl the petals and leaves for lots of dimension. Metallic gold watercolor paint was splattered onto the all of the die-cuts and painted onto the stamen.
For the background, I die-cut the Craft-A-Round Background Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white A2 card base with liquid glue. I splattered some gold watercolor paint onto the front of the card and set it aside to dry.
The flower die-cuts and leaves were adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the front of the card. The sentiment, from the Magical Christmas Stamp Set. Was gold heat embossed onto white cardstock and trimmed into a rectangle. I added some gold watercolor to the edges and popped it up with foam adhesive. Gold Opal Gems were the perfect finishing touch.
I can’t wait to make more of these flowers in different colors!!
Thank you for spending a bit of your day with me!! I’ll see you next Thursday!!
