Winter songbirds

Hello and a Merry Christmas to you and your family! I hope you are getting in some much need crafty time! Today I have one last Christmas card for you today highlighting the Crafty Meraki Round The Block Slimline die that I enjoyed designing for Crafty Meraki!

I used these products found in the Crafty Meraki store:

• Crafty Meraki Round The Block Slimline die
• MFT Winter Songbird stamps & coordinating dies
• Pinkfresh Studio Diamond Tiles stamp
• Pinkfresh Studio Layered Wreath dies
• Pinkfresh Studio Classic Holiday Words dies

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I first die cut the stitched circle panel from red cardstock and then used it to line up were I needed to stamp the plaid. I stamped the plaid in red twice directly onto the card front and glued the stitched circle panel over it.

I then die cut two sets of the wreaths from green cardstocks, glued them together, trimmed the edges with scissors and adhered to the panel with foam tape for dimension.

Next, I stamped the birds and branches, colored them with copic markers, used the coordinating dies to cut them out and added them to the bottom of the wreaths. I finished by adding my sentiment dies in gold foil layered on vellum on the tops of the wreaths and adding some red stickles!
