The Beauty of Mondays

Hello everyone! It's Juhi, I'm back with another floral watercolor slimline card. This week I've used the gorgeous Beauty Within Stampset by Altenew. I feel that it is very difficult to go wrong with Altenew stamps.

I first stamped the flowers and leaves onto full sticky back post it notes and cut them out to create masks. I then repeatedly stamped and masked the images with Ink On 3 Fadeout ink onto a 3 3/4" x 8 1/4" piece of watercolor cardstock.

I watercolored the stamped images with distress ink reinkers and added details with colored pencils.

I finished the card by mounting the watercolored panel onto a light gray cardstock base with double-sided foam tape and adding the sentiment stamped on gray cardstock. In hindsight, I feel that the sentiment would look better directly stamped onto the watercolored flowers, what do you think?
