Stretching Your Stencils with Brenda

Stretching Your Stencils with Brenda

Happy Thursday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda here today with a way to stretch your stencils!!

I began by stenciling the Damask Layering Stencil Set onto white cardstock using dye inks. Although the flowers are all on one layer, I masked the other two flowers off on each layer to make the flowers three different colors. Post-it tape and Post-its are my favorite masking materials to use with stencils. Once everything was inked up, I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

For the background, I applied the lightest dye inks onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with blending brushes. The Craft-A-Round Background Die was cut from another panel of white cardstock and layered over the ink-blended panel. The stenciled floral die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Whimsical Magnolias Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam adhesive. Tiny Daffodil Dew Drops were added to each of the small flowers to finish it off.

Thank so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you next Thursday!!
