Hello, my friends!! Happy Thursday!! Brenda here with a birthday card that was definitely created in anticipation of Spring, flowers and warmer weather!!
I began by die-cutting all of the layers of the Cupid’s Heart Layering Die Set from light green, dark green, white and pink cardstock. They were layered and adhered together with liquid glue.
The background was die-cut from white cardstock using the Flirty Wings Background Die. It was adhered over an A2 panel of pink cardstock, then added to a white card base with liquid glue. The heart die-cuts were adhered to the front of the card, also with liquid glue.
Next, I used small flowers dies included in the Jewel Bloom Mini Slimline Die Set to die-cut the flowers from white cardstock. I blended the centers with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink, adhered them together, then popped them up onto the heart with foam adhesive. The sentiment, from the Love All Around Stamp Set, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and fussy cut out. It was also adhered with foam tape. I adhered an Ivory Opal Gem to the center of each flower to finish it off.
That’s it for me today!! Thanks for stopping by!!
