Spring Birthday Card by Angelique

I hope you are somewhere where the sun is shining! I am so longing for Spring, aren't you? So I decided to create a birthday card with Spring colours .

I used the lovely Crafty Meraki stampset 'Blooming Birthday' and coloured it with alcoholmarkers in soft, spring-like colours. 

I stamped the stamp twice, so I could cut out the banner. I coloured it with a soft purple marker and then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the stampset on it. It's glued on to the stamp with foamtape, to create some extra dimension. 

The lovely bouquet is cut out and glued on to the gorgeous background, created with the wonderful background die 'Flirty Wings' and then stuck to a soft purple panel, slightly smaller than the card base, but just a little bigger than the cut out background. 

Don't you love all these tiny purple butterflies? And the tulips? They are my favourite flowers (no wonder ofcourse, since I'm Dutch..) To finish the card I added a couple of purple sequins for some bling.
