Sparkling slimline card.

Sparkling slimline card.
Hello crafty friends! Welcome to a new blog. Today I’m showing you how to make a sparkling card and how you can use your stamps in a different way.
First im going to start with the Bar None Mini Slimline Die. I’m going to cut it out of white cardstock and the Ombré Glitter Cardstock in green/blue hues. The glitter cardstock has some plastic lining in it so it could be that you carefully have to take out the bars from the paper, because it’s harder to cut it. I’m going to use the glitter cardstock bars and the paneling of the white cut cardstock. I’m using tacky glue to put the paneling and glitter bars onto a white based card. Set aside to dry.
For the next step I’m taking the Meraki moments Hi cutting die and cut the letters out of the same ombré glitter cardstock. I’m not going to use the cutting die that’s in between but only the base die and I cut it out of white cardstock. Glueing all together with tacky glue.
The Enchanting Hugs stampset is so versatile. I already made a blog about to use it in a different way a while ago and today I’m going to show you another way. There are two whole florals on this stamped image and I’m only going to use these two florals. Just add ink onto the florals and stamp them, I’m going to cut them out around the edges so I don’t have to worry about the extra lines from the leaves and words. I’m using pinkfresh inks in the following colours: Atlantis, Paradise and Turquoise. To stamp the florals, 2 of each colour. Now you can choose if you want to colour the florals first or cute them first. I cut them first and coloured them with the same ink colour and some water. It’s a very loose watercolour to get a more artsy look. Let them dry completely.
Now I have all the components for this card so I’m going to start adding everything onto the card base. Using double sided foam tape in 0,5mm and 1mm thickness. And that’s it, hope you liked reading my blog today!
See you next Tuesday.
