Hi there! It's Andrea back with you, and today I'm sharing a fun card featuring the adorable Birthday Bears stamp set.
Aren't those bears the sweetest?! I stamped them onto mixed media paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink and watercolored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I added a few details with a white gel pen and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
To create a background for those sweet images, I used two stencils (grass and cloud) from my stash and several distress inks. I blended the grass with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness and added the clouds with Tumbled Glass. I flicked the panel with water, white paint and some shimmer spray. Once the panel was dry, I adhered it to a white card with double-sided adhesive.
I diecut the scalloped frame with the largest die from the Timeless Frames Slimline Dies and backed it with clear acetate and two layers of narrow foam tape. After placing a variety of sequins onto my background, I sealed them in place with the frame and adhered my images onto the acetate with liquid adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Bears with Versamark ink and heat-embossed it with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I trimmed the sentiment with my scissors and popped it up with foam tape.
