Sandhya makes a Statement with Statement flower Stamp set!

Hello friends! Welcome back to a new post. Today I am sharing a card I made with one for my favorite stamps from Altenew. I chased after the Statement Flowers set for a while and it was always sold out, until I recently got it from the Crafty Meraki store and had to color it right away! For my card today, I started with a piece of Arched cold presses watercolor paper that was a smidge smaller than my A2 card panel. I stamped and heat embossed the Statement flowers with Brutus Monroe Raven embossing powder. I would recommend the Raven Sparkle for a more sparkly finish. I watercolored this with Karin markers. For Arches paper, I prefer to start with the colors scratched out on my glass mat and paint like traditional watercoloring. Then, I go back in and added intense color directly with the marker in the nooks and crannies and the fine tip makes that super easy.
