Rainbow birds of paradise

Rainbow birds of paradise

Hello!

I have another inspiration for you today. For a while we will stay further in the theme of exotic birds. Because also this card is made in the climate of exotics and rainbow colors.

I truly wanted to try coloring stamps in the colors of the rainbow. I decided that the ideal set for such attempts would be "Birds of Paradise". In it you will find wonderful parrots in different poses, which are fantastic for creating dynamic compositions.

This time I used black ink so that the vivid colors would not stand out above the delicate brown outlines. Thanks to the clear lines, I didn't have to worry about using juicy colors. To color the stamps, I traditionally used alcohol markers. With their help, getting such delicate transitions between colors is not difficult.

As usual, I was tempted to use stamps from another set to create the rest of the scenery on the card. This time I reached for the "Tou the Tropics" set. You have to admit that these two sets perfectly match each other.

Once all the stamps were colored, I used white gel pen to add some detail to the images.

The base of this inspiration was a shaker, in which I enclosed some colored sequins. However, so that the number of colors would not make the card chaotic, I made the window of the shaker out of vellum. This gives the whole thing a muted, milky finish, with the colored stamps standing out in the foreground.

At the very end, I glued some sequins, and added glossy accents on the stamps.

I hope you like the inspiration and it will encourage you to create something new.

Have a nice day,
Beata
