I am so delighted to share with you that I will be guest designing for Crafty Meraki for the next 3 months, Bindu asked me last year but I could not commit with everything going on in 2020! I am so glad we are n a new year and I can play with their amazing stamps!
The April release includes this gorgeous bouquet of potted flowers, named Radiance.
Here is what I did:
On one A2-sized heavy white cardstock, stamp the flower in the middle with Copic-friendly ink. I used Ink on 3 Blackout detail ink. Next, stamp another panel, but this time with a watermark stamp pad, like Versamark. Heat emboss the middle flower gold and cut out only the middle flower.
Leave your stamp in the Misti. You will need to stamp this image at the very end. Loosely color the flowers with Copics. I like to add highlights and shadows with Posca pens.
Place your colored image back in the Misti and use an antistatic tool to remove static electricity from the cardstock. Use Versamark ink to add a "wet" layer over the inked image and heat emboss with silver this time.
I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the whole image, but you can easily use scissors and fussy cut all around. Place double-sided foam tape on the middle flower and position over the original image. For the back panel, I used an embossing folder to create the embossed rays.
Place double sided foam tape on the back of the pot and adhere to the back panel. The sentiment is embossed with gold powder on black cardstock.
I hope you liked today's card! follow me on Facebook and Instagram for almost daily inspiration.
