Protea Paradise Birthday Wishes by Brenda

Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope you are all doing well!! Brenda here with a birthday card to share featuring products from the newest Meraki Blooms Release!! There are so many beautiful layering stencils and hot foil plates in this release that I couldn’t decide what to use first!! I finally settled on the Protea Paradise Layering Stencil, Coordinating Die and Luna Butterfly Dies!!

 


I began by stenciling the Protea Paradise Stencil Set onto white cardstock with dye inks and blending brushes. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out.

For the background, I foiled the Loopy Hearts Hot Foil Plate onto smooth white cardstock using pink satin foil from the Satin Pastel Variety Pack. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 purple cardstock panel, then a white card base. The protea die-cut was adhered to the left side with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from the edge.

The Luna Die was cut from white, black and two shades of purple cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue only in the center, allowing the wings to pop up and adhered to the front of the card.

The sentiment is from the Love Like No Other Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with its Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. Lavender Luster pearl gems were the perfect finishing touch.
