Hello!
Today's inspiration is coming a little late because I had a little technical problems. Fortunately, they were overcome. You certainly did not miss the infomation about the new release of Crafty Meraki. For the past three days, the store has been offering wonderful stamp sets, die-cuts, gems and an absolute innovation in the handcraft market. Be sure to take a look at the website and Crafty Meraki's social media, where live shows are being conducted, during which the new products are presented. My inspiration today is also based on the products that have appeared in the offer. I prepared a tag that shows the pond at night.
To prepare the inspiration, I reached for the "Snug Bug" stamp set. This is a set in which you will find a lot of cute creatures, thanks to which you can create wonderful compositions on cards and tags. Of course, coordinating die-cuts were created for the set.
To apply the stamps I used brown ink. This slightly managed to lighten the already dark background. After stamping the images, I proceeded to color them with alcohol markers.
* If you don't like coloring, or don't have time for it, be sure to take a look at the site where you can find EAP kits, which are made just for people who prefer to stay away from markers. The details of the EAP kits are fantastically presented on live shows. :)
I used the Congrats Slimline Tag die-cut for the background. I didn't want it to be that long, because my plan was to create a rather dynamic and full composition. Therefore, I decided to shorten the tag by die-cutting it twice. The second time I moved it so that the unnecessary part was cut off. In addition, I die-cut the second part from the pattern paper from the latest release. The paper I used is from the Celebrate Good Times collection.
After die-cutting the base, I moved on to blending the background using Oxide inks. I then added some details with white gel pen and that's it. You can move on to gluing the composition. At the very end, I added a ribbon matching the color of the inspiration.
I hope that the presented inspiration will appeal to you and encourage you to create something unique.
I wish you a lot of creativity!
Beata
