This week the Design Team is showing you how to stretch your stash and how to use one product three ways. For my projects, I decided to play with the beautiful wreath from the Crafty Meraki Dream Big Stamp set. I decided to use it with my alcohol markers, embossed it, and stamped it to make a patterned paper.
For the card, I stamped the wreath onto marker-friendly cardstock and I colored it with my markers. I cut it with the Coordinating Meraki Para-dies and I colored the remaining white parts with an orange marker.
After that, I cut a 4 3/4" stitched square onto orange textured cardstock. I stamped parts of my wreath with pink ink on the corners to add patterns to my plain square. I also splattered pink ink on it with a brush and water, and I stamped my sentiment in the middle of the panel (I used my wreath to place it). I matted and layered my panel with a bigger 5" burgundy square. I glued my wreath with foam pads on the base of my card.
For the tag, I used the Crafty Meraki Wishes Slimline Tag die. I wanted a smaller size, so I cut it twice.
I stamped my wreath with an embossing inkpad, and I embossed it with dark pink embossing powder. After that, I inked my panel with pink, orange, and yellow reactive inks. I splattered yellow ink and water on my tag.
I cut a stripe onto burgundy cardstock with my tag die and I glued it. Finally, I added a little butterfly I colored with my markers and a ribbon.
