My heart belongs to you by Lounon

Today, I am sharing you an easel card I made featuring the beautiful Crafty Meraki Cupid's Heart Layering Die Set.


First, I used the plain heart die to cut the base of my card. I cut a simple heart onto aubergine cardstock and I used the die on a piece of cardstock I folded in two, I let a part of the die sticking out to have a hinge. I also folded the top part in two. The top part on the right of the picture will be where you will put your glue later.


After that, I used two of the other dies to cut the layers into pink pearlescent and aubergine cardstocks.


I also cut the top layer onto pink glitter cardstock. I cut my bow from the Take a Bow die set three times (after I took the photos I decided to change the colors of my bow and went for two layers of pink glitter cardstock and one of aubergine cardstock).


I glued the layers together and cut the top of the heart, which will be on the bottom layer of my card to fit the hinge.


I glued the bottom of the top heart onto the base of my card (as I mentioned earlier you have to put your glue only on half of the heart).


The bow allows the card to stay up, I put foams under it to add some dimension.


Finally, I stamped my sentiment from the Loving Heart Stamp set onto pink cardstock and matted and layered it with two aubergine and glitter pink cardstocks. I glued it on my card.
