Mother's day card by Laura

Hello Meraki friends!! I'm Laura, today I want to share one more card that I made with the new Crafty Meraki release! 😊

Since May 8th is Mother's Day, I prepared created this adorable card with these giraffes that are too cute to resist!

To start with, I stamped the image from Mama Bear Stamps set on a piece of white cardstock with Inkon 3 Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink and coloured it using alcohol markers. Then I fussy cut the image. I also like to give the stamped images a little more detail with a fine black marker and with the white gelly roll! 

Then I prepared the background: for this I used the "Crafty Meraki Craft-A-Round Background A2" to die cut a piece of white cardstock cut and used Distress Oxide inks "Antique linen" and "Mustard seed to colour the panel". I added another piece of white cardstock which has been ink blended with Distress Ink vintage photo and cut to the same size and adhered it underneath the die cut background. I also used the Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Blanket Stitched Oval that I coloured with Distress Ink Spun sugar on which I adhered the giraffes. 

I heat embossed the sentiment with  Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder- Alabaster on a piece of black cardstock, cut it out and glued it under the giraffes.
I also added a flower using a die feom the new Crafty Neraki release- Emma Meraki flora.

For a little bit of sparkle, I added CM Rosy Opal Gems on the die cut panel. 

I finished the card by adhering everything in place.
