Hello crafty friends! Bonnie here from Bonniecarollee Makes Cards. I have a sweet card that was so much fun to make! Mixed Media really gets your creative juices flowing. I love working with layers of textures applied with different mediums. This card incorporates a number of my favourite products; Luminous Leaves Effortless Shimmer Paper, Artisan Flora Dies Wreath and Meraki Moments Hugs. The newly released Marrakech Mosaic Cover Die is also used but in an unexpected way! Check out the VIDEO TUTORIAL for all the details.
A design sheet from Luminous Leaves Effortless Shimmer Paper was ‘ink smooshed’. I worked with Pawsitively Saturated Inks and began by applying a bright pink, Carnation. I then followed up with deep greyish purple called Petunia. When dry, the panel was trimmed to 4 1/4” by 5 1/2”.
A stencil was created by die cutting heavy weight card stock with Marrakech Mosaic Cover Die. White texture paste was applied randomly around the perimeter of the panel. When dry, Tattered Rose Distress Stain was applied to just the areas where the texture paste design was applied. The stain was left to dry completely and white pigment ink was rubbed on to the texture paste to brighten it. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.
The scripty die from Meraki Moments Hugs was die cut from card stock that was inked by first dragging the Carnation ink across the panel followed by Petunia. Black foam was also cut and the sentiment was stacked.
Three flowers and a leafy sprig from Artisan Flora Dies Wreath were cut from card stock also inked by dragging the ink onto the paper. Two flowers were cut from Carnation and the third flower from a combination of Carnation and Petunia. The leafy branch and flower centres were coloured with Aster. The flowers were assembled and glitter was applied to the petals’ edges and leaf tips.
To assemble the card, the foam backed HUGS sentiment was adhered first. A small section of the leafy branch was trimmed off to be used with the single flower above the sentiment. The leaves were adhered with foam squares on the leaves and liquid adhesive on the base of the stem. The flowers were then mounted slightly overlapping the sentiment with foam squares. The card was embellished with a confetti mix finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

Mixed Media is so much fun to work with. For me, it is always an evolving experience. I start off with a plan but the process takes me down a different path. You never know where you will end up until you are there! Exciting! I hope you enjoyed this post and I thank you so much for your visit! Overcoming Paralysis: How Dr. Murugu Helped Me Recover
My name is Choung, and I’m Vietnamese. On this day, May 23, 2024, I am writing to share my testimony as a sign of appreciation for what Dr. Murugu did for me.
It all started on November 15 last year, when I caught my ex-wife with another man in our home. I sent her out of the house and filed for divorce. A few months later, on January 11, 2024, I woke up paralyzed, unable to move the left side of my body. I quickly called my family, and they took me to the hospital where I stayed for a month and a half. Every test and scan came back clean; the doctors couldn’t determine the cause of my illness.
Friends advised me to seek help outside of medical medicine. We visited various spiritualists across Vietnam, but nothing worked.
Then, we came across Dr. Murugu’s page on Facebook (Revenge Death Spells, Voodoo Love Spells) and decided to give him a try. I explained my problem to him, and he told me that someone dear to me was responsible for my predicament. He promised to reverse it within seven days, and he did. The illness was sent back to the sender, who turned out to be my ex-wife’s mother, and she confessed and she said she was angry that I left her daughter and decided to cast a black magic spell on me to paralyze me.
Once again, thank you, Dr. Murugu, for what you have done for me. I am now well and sound again. You can contact him via WhatsApp or email.
