Mini Slimline Full of Greenery by Lien

Mini Slimline Full of Greenery by Lien
Hi Crafty Meraki friends! It's Lien here with another mini slimline card and today I'm only using dies. I made this card on my Saturday Night Live session on the Crafty Meraki Instagram. You can catch those every Saturday at 6 pm eastern time.
For this card I started by diecutting the Olivia Mini Slimline die from two shades of green cardstock. I also cut a panel of a third, darker shade of green that would cover my mini slimline cardbase perfectly. The last thing I die cut was the Jewel Bloom Mini Slimline die twice from thick white cardstock just to add dimension to it and once from Fabriano Accademia 200 gsm cardstock. This is perfect for ink blending and colored pencils which is perfect since I'm going to do both.
If you want to see the entire coloring process you can catch the live replay right here. I started by blending on some pinkfresh studio inks: Apricot, Clementine, Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Grassy Knoll and Key Lime. I blended them quite lightly so I'd have very light almost white areas on my flowers and leaves as a strong highlight.
Next I layered on some colored pencils to add shading. I just started from my darkest shade blending that to a midtone and a highlight color that I apply very lightly so it blends nicely into the almost white ink blending.
I then just layer the Jewel Bloom die cuts together with Bearly Art Precision Craft glue and glue everything on my cardbase. The dark green panel and the Olivia die cuts, turning the lightest one 180 degrees so it doesn't overlap the darker one. Then gluing on the stacked Jewel Bloom die cuts. As a finishing touch I added the Golden Illusion Meraki Sparkle to the centers of the flowers and also added a bunch of the Emerald Meraki Sparkle between the leaves.
That's it! That finishes up my card for today and you can catch the live replay here!
