Happy Friday crafty friends!
Today I am sharing a card using the super dazzling ink-layering stampset and coordinating dies called All the Sparkle.
To get started I ink blended a panel of white card stock with distress inks in a variety of shades of yellows , oranges and reds. I cut this out with Pink Fresh Blanket Stitched ovals.
The stampset is marked clearly for layering inks. I followed the layers for Diamond labeled ‘D’ and ‘E’. I used Altenew Crisps Inks in blues and purples as well as one diamond I layered with shades of orange and red. Once these were done, I used the D1 and E1again over the top to apply Versamark clear ink so that I would be able to heat emboss with clear powder to give them a sheen. What I forgot at this point was to add clear sparkle from Wink of Stella or similar pens for an even better sparkly diamond. None the less I made up for this in the last step.
Next I used the co-ordinating dies to cut these diamonds out. I roughly arranged the diamonds where I wanted on the card base with the panel so that I could figure out where I wanted the sentiment stamped. Its an older MFT stamp called Sassy Pants greetings 2 which is currently out of stock but another one called Super Star (Heffy Doodle + CM collab) is a good choice. I stamped that in Versafine Onyx black ink.
I used double-sided foam tape to mount the ink-blended panel and splattered some metallic blue and purple from the Altenew Metallic Watercolor pans. Once this was dry I added the diamonds with a few under the panel and some with foam tape for added dimension and fun look. Finally I added some of my favorite bling from CM ; Golden Illusion and Purple Dream gems to finish off this card. I love the pop of colors on this card and that added bling from the gems.
That’s all from me today. Were you able to play over on Crafty Meraki’s Instagram guessing the Mystery Designers for the Valentine Cards?? That was such a fun one! Hope you will check back frequently for all the inspiration, fun and giveaways!
