Hello everyone, Lounon here !
Today, I will show you how to make a Halloween tag without specific supplies, only using your regular stash! It's all about choosing the right colors and adding some spooky details!
First, I die-cut my Crafty Meraki Greetings Slimline Tag die twice: once onto bright green cardstock and once onto white cardstock.
I inked the white one with green reactive inks. I splattered water and ink on it. After that, I used a black fineliner to draw two spiderwebs on it.
After that, I stamped three cupcakes from the Crafty Meraki Be Your Own Kind of Cupcake Stamp set onto marker-friendly cardstock. To color them, I decided to use Halloween-style colors: orange, green, black, and purple.
I also added some spooky details : I transformed the berries into eyes, and added a little BOO on the purple flag. On the middle cupcake I added a little spider from the Crafty Meraki Snug Bug Stamp Set. I stamped it twice : once directly on the cupcake and once onto marker-friendly cardstock, I fussy cut the little circle with her face and glued it on my cupcake. I fussy cut my cupcakes.
Now for the final touch, you don't have a Halloween sentiment? Don't worry and use one of your alphabet dies to spell BOO! I die-cut a small B and O onto white cardstock and inked them with green inks. The little spider will act as the first O.
Finally, I glued the green tag behind my inked panel for a clean finish, and I glued my three cupcakes with foam pads.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
