Hello there! Today I'm sharing a Valentine's Day card featuring the Birthday Bears stamp. I just love stretching my supplies beyond their intended use!
I stamped those adorable bears with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and added a few highlights and details with a white gel pen.
The new Effortless Shimmer Paper pads make such quick and fabulous backgrounds! This heart paper is from the Cupid's Canvas pack. I foiled it with Red Deco Foil and did some ombre ink-blending with Catherine Pooler's Do-si-do ink. I started blending at the bottom of the panel and let the color fade towards the top. I added water splatters, blotted them dry, and diecut the panel with a scalloped rectangle die. I adhered the panel to a white cardbase with double-sided adhesive.
To create a focal spot for those sweet bears, I diecut a heart shape from white cardstock and blended it with a combination of Salvaged Patina and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks. I affixed the heart with foam and popped up my colored images. I heat-embossed a sentiment from Birthday Bears and attached that with foam, as well. I finished the card with a scattering of clear sequins.
Have a wonderful day!
