Happy New Year dear friends,
here, Wishing you a fabulous 2023, filled with love, happiness, good health and lot of crafty time :) I have rather been busy making New year cards with the gorgeous stamps and dies by Crafty Meraki and today am sharing how with a little change in colors you can make many cards.
This set of cards were for my husband's colleagues and he wanted that I make same design for all of them, so it looks uniform. The flowers for my card are from - Happy hello stamp set
On water color paper, I stamped the flowers with waterproof ink. For each card two set of flowers will be used so I stamped 12 images and colored them with Zig markers mostly in Pinks and greens. However for one card for flowers, I used Peachy color. After coloring I switched on Netflix and did some fussy cutting while watching Friends :D For the upper flowers I cut off one of the flowers from the bunch and for the bottom flowers I kept the three. Also depending on the background of the card with pencil colors I filled in the places between the flowers and the leaves where there were white portions.
I also die cut Happy from white cardstock with Happy birthday shadow word die
and though it gets a shadow too, I will use only the inner most die cut Hello.
I die cut white cardstock with Dancing Feathers A2 background
and got the beautiful pattern debossed. Then I chose two colors of the same family and ink blended Distress Oxide Inks on the card panel, with light color in the center and dark towards the outside.
I stamped New year on a thin piece of cardstock and assembled my card, gluing the flowers and hello on the panel with liquid glue and used dimensional tape for new year and mounting the card panel on the A2 size top folding cardbase.
The various color combinations for the background that I used are:
Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo
Peacock feathers and Cracked Pistachio
Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio
Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron
Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac
Twisted Citron and Squeezed lemonade
I hope you like the idea to make multiple cards without breaking heads over the design. Choose a design and vary the background. Check out the beautiful stamps and dies at the Crafty Meraki

Just as a new bloom spreads freshness and fragrance around, may the new year bring freshness and new beauty into your life.
wishing you all a very Happy 2023 :)
