Crafty Meraki has just the right stamp for new year cards, "Year of the Ox" was released in the beginning of this year and this stamp still makes for a great new year card. For my card I made a Distress Oxide ink background. I stamped and water colored the lanterns, cut those out. After the background was dry I used an "Patchwork Kite Stencil" from Altenew to partially stencil it on top of the background for added interest. To finish I stamped the sentiment and added some White Gel pen dots.
