Happy Happy Birthday Rainbow Balloon Mini Slimline by Brenda

Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! Happy Thursday!! Brenda here with a festive birthday mini slimline card to share with you today!!

I began by creating my ink-blended background by blending Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks onto a mini slimline panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I die-cut the Party Balloons Mini Slimline Para-Dies from black glitter cardstock. Once the ink-blended panel was dry, the glitter die-cut was adhered to it with liquid glue. 

For the sentiment, I die-cut “happy” from the Happy Birthday Shadow Word Para-Dies from white and black glitter cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card. “Happy birthday”, from the Celebrate You Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and trimmed into a narrow strip. It was adhered under the die-cut with foam adhesive. 

The Opal Ebony Meraki Gems have an iridescent shine and were the perfect finishing touch!!

I absolutely love the black glitter and white cardstock with the rainbow colors!!
