Happy Easter by Brenda

Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope you’re all having a great week!! Brenda here with a fun Easter card to share with you today!!

I began by stenciling the Funny Bunny Stencil onto a panel of white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo, Wilted Violet and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. I stenciled three eggs from the Egg Hunt Stencil onto another panel of white cardstock with the same inks. I also added some glitz to the eggs with the details on the Egg Hunt Stencil with glitter gel. Once dry, I fussy cut those out.

I wanted a background panel to mat the bunny stenciled panel onto, so I blended the same Distress Oxide Ink colors around the outside of a panel of white cardstock. I trimmed the bunny panel slightly and adhered it to that panel. Next, the Fern Leaf Dies were cut from vellum and adhered to the panel with liquid adhesive, along with the eggs.

The sentiment was created by combining dies from the Happy Birthday Die Set and a stamp from the Spring Blooms set. “Happy” was die-cut from black glitter and white cardstock and Easter was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. They were both popped up with foam adhesive. A combination of Rosy Opal, Amethyst Opal and Azure Opal gems finish off the card.
