Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here with you today sharing a birthday card with die-cuts on a plaid weaved die-cut background!!
I began by die-cutting the flowers, stems and leaves in the Emma Meraki Flora Para-Dies from white cardstock and coloring them with Copic markers.
For the background, I die-cut the Crafty Plaid A2 Background Die from white cardstock. I trimmed approximately 1/8” strips of peach cardstock and weaved some of them through the die, while just adhering some of them behind the die-cut. I trimmed the excess from the edges, matted it with a panel of darker peach cardstock, then adhered it to a white top-folding card base.
The leaves and stems were adhered with liquid glue, while the blooms were popped up with foam adhesive. The sentiment, from the Celebrate You Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a darker peach cardstock strip. It was also popped up with foam tape. Citrine Opal Gems were added to the center of each flower and I was finished.
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a wonderful Thursday and I’ll see you next week!!

I love the look of simplicity on this card even tho I know a lot of work went into it. Very pretty!
