Hello everyone ! Lounon here !
These adorable bears waited for all the little kids to come home to organize a surprise party for one of their best friends. Watch out ! She is coming!
Today, I share with you a cute winter birthday card I made mixing two Crafty Meraki stamp sets: the Birthday Bears stamp set and It's Playtime stamp set.
First, I stamped my scene on a draft paper to have in mind the exact position of my images. At this stage, don't worry if your images are overlapping.
After that, I stamped all my elements onto masking paper. I fussy cut them. Then, I stamped the two bottom bears and the gifts onto marker-friendly cardstock. I masked them. Then, I stamped the playground and masked it too. Finally, I stamped the last bear on top of the playground. I removed my masks.
It was time to start the coloring. I started with the trees: I used my Copics W3 W1 W0 for the base of the trees and W5 W7 to add the spots.
After that, I colored the snow on the floor and mountains. I used my Copics BG01 B00 and BG000.
Then, I colored my sky with a first layer of B37 B34 and a second of B18 and B14. I added snow with a white paint pen. I also added and colored snowy bushes and berries with my G28 YG67 YG63 YG25 and RV69.
Finally, I colored my stamped images. I colored the bears' furs with my E29 E27 E25 E23 E21. For the blue parts I used B39 B18 B14 B12. For the green parts I used G28 YG67 YG25 YG03 and for the yellow parts I used E15 E13 Y15 Y11. For the metal parts of the playground I used C7 C5 C3 C1.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
