Hello everyone, this is Juhi with my first post for Craft Meraki. I am so excited and honored to be a part of the very talented Crafty Meraki design team. In case you haven't done yet, go ahead and check out the awesome new craft store CraftyMeraki.com. The store not only has a curated collection of card making supplies but Bindu from Crafty Meraki believes in building a community around this awesome hobby!
For my first post, I am sharing a couple of cards I created using the Altenew Flower Garden Stamp Set.
For my first card, I started by stamping out the images on watercolor cardstock with obsidian pigment ink using my Misti stamping tool.
Without removing the stamped watercolor cardstock panel from the Misti I went ahead and watercolored the images using the Altenew Watercolor Essential 12 pan set. The 12 pan set features a handpicked collection of colors that are perfect for coloring floral images. I used the waterbrush that comes with the set for all the watercoloring, the brush has a fine tip and provides a regulated flow of water which I find perfect for my watercoloring needs.
I've used Puffy Heart, Rubellite, and Warm Sunshine colors for the large rose and Warn Sunshine, Crimson, and Rubellite for the smaller flower.
Once I was happy with my watercoloring I stamped the images again with the obsidian black pigment ink. Doing this step provides crisp black outlines to the watercolored images which might have otherwise been dulled with the watercolor pigment coming on top of it.
I then die cut the images using coordinating dies.
For the watercolor background, I just went over a 4" x 5.25" piece of white watercolor cardstock with a size 12 round watercolor brush fully loaded with Puffy Heart, Rubellite, and Warm Sunshine colors. I removed pigment from some places using a wet paper towel to create depth and texture.
I finished the card by adhering the stamped and die-cut images onto the watercolor background and adding a stamped and fussy cut 'thanks' sentiment. And, I also added a ton of white and black paint splatters to bring it all together.
I did some no-line watercoloring for my second card. I've used the same colors for the flowers as the first card, the floral arrangement is also similar, I've just switched the larger rose with a smaller rose.
To finish this card, I added some paint splatters in white, Puffy Heart, and Warm Sunshine colors.
Here's the list of products I used for today's projects:

I lost my job few months back and there was no way to get income for my family, things was so tough and I couldn’t get anything for my children, not until a met a recommendation on a page writing how Mr Bernie Doran helped a lady in getting a huge amount of profit every 6 working days on trading with his management on the cryptocurrency Market, to be honest I was skeptical at first but I took the risk to take a loan, and I contacted him unbelievable and I was so happy I received a profit of $15,500 with an investment of $1500 within 7 days of trading , the most joy is that I can now take care of my family, i am just sharing my testimony on here.
