Hello everyone!
Sindhu here. I hope you are all doing good.
I have a watercoloured floral card to share with you today.
I used Waffle Flower Crafts 'Tulips' stamp set for my card.
Here is the card
I started by stamping images on the bottom half of the card with Antique Linen Distress Ink on a piece of Arches Cold pressed 140 lb watercolor cardstock. I used Daniel Smith watercolors to paint the images.
I always start by using colours I already have on my palette. I don't usually wash my palette after every card making session. So I start by laying down a light wash of colour on the images.
Once the first layer is dry, I take more concentrated pigment and lay down the shadows.
I come back again the third time where I mix the colour that I use for the petals with a little bit of Daniel Smith 'Shadow violet ' and only paint the darkest parts of the flower.
Painting a light wash of colour around the images is my favorite part. :) I also splattered white ink for some added interest.
I used Heffy Doodle Imperial Stitched Rectangle die and die cut a stitched panel.
Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered the panel on the card base.
That is all for today's post. Keep watching this space and IG for some very interesting announcements. :)
Take care.. Be safe
