Hello everyone ! Lounon here !
Today, I share with a you a holiday card with a clean but effective design ! I used the Crafty Meraki Tinsel Ornament Layering Dies set, the Under the Mistletoe foil plate and the Take a Bow die set to make it.
First I foiled a teal blue 3 3/4" x 5" rectangle with my Under the Mistletoe foil plate and gold foil. I used my Gemini Foilpress at low heat for 15 seconds. I inked blend the corners. I matted and layered my panel with a 4" x 5 1/4" rectangle cut from gold glitter cardstock.
After that, I cut the bottom and middle layer of the Crafty Meraki Tinsel Ornament Layering Dies set and a bow from the Take a Bow die set onto teal cardstock. I darkened the bottom layer with ink and I splattered pearlescent watercolors on the three elements.
I cut the top layer of the bauble into gold cardstock. I wanted to add volume without using foam pads so I decided to cut the first layer 6 times into teal cardstock ( two on the photos).
After that, I glued all my bauble's parts together. It's easier than it looks since you only have to glue the circles together, not the inside. Once my bauble was finished I glued the bow on top of it and added a gold sequin.
Finally, I glued my bauble onto the base of my card.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
