Happy Easter friends! Today I'm sharing my last Easter card of the year using My Favorite Things Spring Gnomes combined with Crafty Meraki You are my Sunshine slimline die.
To create this card I first inked my background panel with salty ocean and kitsch flamingo distress oxide inks. Then I used the You are my Sunshine slimline die to cut from several white cardstock which I stacked together to make it more sturdy. I ink blended squeezed lemonade on the top layer and adhered it over the inked background. Next I used the grass slimline dies to cut from MFT green room cardstock. The edges were inked with lucky clover to add some depth.
I stamped the images from the Spring Gnomes stamp set with milk chocolate ink. Then I colored them using copic markers and cut them out with their coordinating dies. Once I was happy with the placements of the images I adhered them using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. For the sentiment I heat embossed it on vellum using a white fine detail embossing powder. I trimmed the vellum down and glued it to the panel.
For some finishing touches I added white highlights with a white gel pen, Nuvo crystal drops in simply white for the center of the flowers, and a scatter of clear sequins over the sun rays.
That is all for me today, I hope you're having a relaxing Easter Sunday. Take care everyone!!
